What If?

There are always so many what if's in my mind. What if I'd done that rather than that? What if I'd been more precise with my revision? What if blah blah blah.. but what if's are the past and we are living in the present!

So tomorrow I am being ordered to hang out with Tak, he has given the orders of course. I would say it's against my will but I must will my legs to move so I cannot entirely be "forced" as I'm the one doing the walking. This is all down to trying to talk to the aforementioned person.. which I don't seem able to do any more because I'm so awkward. Why do I have to be so awkward? I even have that annoying random laughter when in those situations, which doesn't benefit anyone because then everyone else feels uncomfortable. I've been told to plan what to say before saying it, so although I may plan out a really fluent and fun conversation it will probably end up like:

Me: What's your favourite colour?
Him: Green.
Me: That's the colour of toe fungus!
Him: *backs away*

This is where I feel mind-reading would solve everything. If we could mind read we wouldn't just have to go on body language and facial expressions, we could dive into people's thoughts and know whether we had to go on pretending to make small talk or find where you're at in someone's life. However, this is a highly impossible task because mind-reading is not in people's genes and if it is, it is most definitely recessive! If we all wish extra extra hard maybe one day we will be granted the ability to mind-read..;-)

Quote Of The Day:

*marking our PE test papers - which were all rubbish btw*

Miss: Why does being an ectomorph help the sprinter?
Me: I wrote.. "they are more air-resistant" *class laughs* .. and I got the mark!
Miss: Well I must've been having a good day, and felt generous!

Sometimes I write the weirdest things in exam papers..

Adios,

Beth x
