Is Something Happening To Me?
Recently I've found comfort in the nerds and geeks of our school. They just seem to joke around and get lost in any conversation! They are definitely the sort of crew I enjoy, however none of them are people I see a potential relationship with so I'll happily befriend them instead. Without being judgemental I just mean they're too close and friendly to go anywhere else with that.
I mean earlier this week I had a fabulous interaction with a male. I was walking to school and along my way is this nursery/junior play centre thing which builders have been adapting for the past week. Basically I swung around the corner and walked past a parked van where this 19 year-old (I'm guessing) guy was stood nearby. I didn't notice but once I glanced up I realised he was already staring at me so I did the quick floor stare and hoped that I would walk past swiftly and we would continue but I repeated what I'd done previously only this time he gave me "the nod". I'd never experienced the nod seriously before so had a few milliseconds to decide how to react, I went for a smile and tiny raise of the eyebrows followed by a strut away. Although it happened within the space of 30 seconds, so much flew through my mind and I have the right to do so as he was marvellously handsome!
It's times like those where I wonder why my life isn't a movie!

David: Oh yeah, Tom likes you! And someone else likes you Beth.
Glory: Ooh Beth look at you, having to fight off the guys to Prom!
David: It's true, me and the black guys were all discussing how much hotter you are now than Year 7, in Year 7 you were UGLY!
Is that supposed to be a compliment, how do I take that?
