The Hassler!
I realised over the last week that Siggy does her job for a reason! She forgot to mention that I should write a blog and it's been over a week without me writing one. So we must praise Siggy for her awesome hassling skills! All hail Siggy!
There was that reason and there was the worry for the GCSE tests we had this week! Yep, time has quite literally flown by and I am now sitting GCSE exams. I did quite badly on my last English one so my expectations for this one weren't great. By "quite badly" I'm not being modest, I did quite badly because the English department would like me to retake it soon, so I'm relying on this exam to do well! I also had an EspaƱol exam, I do alright in Spanish, but trying to remember 20 paragraphs off by heart in Spanish - just in case she asks one that I don't know - isn't a highlight of my week.At least I got the day off today for mentoring day because I had a lovely lie-in and put my feet up for a couple of hours :D
In addition, I now now I'm a chemistry whiz because on my progress check that and RE were A's! Woop woop! I'm at an A! However, I'm not sure how I'm expected to maintain that grade because I don't understand what's happening in my chemistry lessons any more! Oh well, I must be doing something right. I wasn't impressed with my PE grade either, that was a D..
Actually, my PE grade is a good story! I love telling it. Basically, we had a PE test that would only last about 20 minutes and then we would spend the rest of the lesson running around the field. But I took my pen out of my pocket and left it on e side, but when I got changed I forgot to pick it back up and as I got to the lesson I remembered and asked to go back but I was told I couldn't return as I was "now in exam conditions" but the best part of this story - A BOY ASKED THE MALE TEACHER IF HE COULD RETURN TO THE CHANGING ROOM AND HE GAVE HIM A KEY TO GO BACK!!!!! What!? Luckily after about 10 minutes my teacher found a pen on the floor and flung it at me, this resulted in me receiving an F6 rather than an ungradeable.
Quote of the day:
Siggy: do you know what the date is?
Me: what do you mean?
Siggy: I was asking the date because the last time you updated your blog was the 18th missy!
.... Drop whatever you're doing and get on with updating it right away!
Thank you Sigourney, without you I would have about 2 blog posts! :')
Adios,
Beth x
