Devon!
We dropped by Devon for a couple days to see the grandparents (my step-grandparents) and they were as cute as always. Their house is lovely and welcoming, as we noticed when we toured each room. So on the first day we went to the sandy beach in Exmouth - I can't stand sandy beaches because they wiggle their way into everything.
After burying Zoë and hoping to feed her to the seagulls everyone decided to bury me into a hole, only from my knees down but so much so that it was a struggle to move my feet. That wasn't the only problem of the day, we lay on our towel for around an hour praying for a tan. Well who doesn't want a tan when going to the beach? Well yeah, I left with a good ol' burn. It kills still and I'm wishing for it to brown off.
That's why the second day was better as it was a pebbly beach and I hardly sat in the sun. We spent some time in town so I bought a top, a lipstick and a couple of bracelets (one which I got for free)
The two bracelets I bought for £5 were the top one and the the red one, I was really attracted to the top one and when I was told about a free one this one matched my arm best. I'd really like to build up my collection as I never pick up souvenirs and this could work for me.
An ugly photo of me but the only nice shot of Zoë that won't have me shot. Because she will shoot... Be warned!
Oh yeah and these photos I found funny because I don't think he even knows I have them. They were taken in the moment and he won't be finding out hopefully. This was during our eventful card games.
Quote Of The Day:
[Well it was more the action than anything]
Zoë: *looking into the canal* Oh no I've dropped my ring in the canal!
How she managed to drop a ring in the canal when she was supposed to be climbing onto the roof I will never know. She, for some unexplainable reason, was bending over checking out the canal and I was blamed for it :')
Adios,
Beth x
