Downton Abbey!

Visited Downton Abbey castle today, woohoo! It's real name is Highclere castle so maybe I should call it that from here out but I like relating it to Downton Abbey. It was smaller than expected actually, I did wonder whether I'd simply perceived it as bigger through the television show until we toured the building. Any one of the rooms was grander than a collection of rooms in my house.

Once we'd arrived I thought about taking a photo outside the castle so turned to Zoë and asked her to take it. Zoë refused by replying "No, not with people around" and then fled the scene. Which left me on the front steps of a refined mansion, taking a selfie. This taught me that strangers are more caring than family.

I don't care if it looks bad because I couldn't check it and get the stranger to retake the picture as I didnt know her..

I was obviously rather annoyed at queues, following the previous days of queuing for hours on end, so didnt have the patience required for the right admiration. Therefore my resulting opinion was mixed because I couldn't look at everything in specifics though what I did see was beautiful.
