Summer in the City 2013! Part 1.
I literally can't think of words to write down. I left my blog post until a day later and still haven't gotten over the shock. Eventually I will write something as I am really eager to share my experience.
Let me first mention how we queued for about 1&1/2 hours to get in, where we were given a red wristband which I wasn't ready for so now have it on my left arm! This queue - and the whole event - was organised terribly originally! So as soon as we entered, we were dying to queue up for a meet&greet naïvely so wasted hours on standing in queues that we ultimately jumped out of due to bad investigations and the really annoying queue-jumpers.
Troye sivan was also the big one, the only one I was desperate to see if I'm honesty which meant queuing up for an hour to get from one room to the other, only to find out that his meet was in the room we were in previously. Then there was a queue to get back into the room which we complained about and were let in only to notice that Siggy was not with us. We lined up and the number of "jumpers" were unbearably annoying but we couldn't also give into temptation. Just before the end the guards/organisers told him to leave and he refused politely. Then nearing the end of the line, about 5 people away (it was basically a huddle so who knows what would've happened) they forcibly took him away.
Thanks organisers for such a great day meeting no one.
The only person we saw up-close that day was Jason simply because he was walking around.. The moral of that story was to not queue up in a never-ending line.
