Dress To Impress?

So prom's gone off with a kick, the theme is now "The Great Gatsby". Consequently, our dress sense is not to match the theme, which I feel to be random. Why have a theme such as that yet leave the standard dress sense; this is the reason why we need more dances during secondary school. This will be our first -and last for some -since primary school.

Above is my possible dress. I'm not sure whether it would draw too much attention yet, I may not be able t wear it for that reason. I can't be stealing people's thunder. I still haven't got a date, so please pray for me otherwise I'll ask one of my nerdy friends, which isn't bad actually but I'd prefer to be asked, traditional and all. I also won't whip out this dress idea until after arrangements are made, I don't want to scare off a potential date.

Opinions on it are appreciated.

Quote Of The Day:

Dad: Did you think I wouldn't notice?
Me: Notice what?
Dad: All the boys queuing outside!

Dad... I'm not that irresistible, in fact I fear I may be repelling boys! So better luck next time with a suitable joke :')

Adios,

  1. Yeah that seems more like a decade dance theme, like for the 1920's, they should have more dances like winter formals in America. Also someone suggested the Yule Ball as a theme, and I thought that sounded pretty good.

  2. With the whole date thing I think it would be nice for you to be asked, but boys just seem so slow and shy about it....:/:/
