It's Magic!

A magic trick was played on me yesterday, I have the evidence.. When I view these tricks I see them as illusions and try to visualise how they did it. This is a different story when you're in the hot seat, not being able to observe. Luckily Kwakula - not his real name - was on the sidelines so once I'd walked away he explained the strategy. The "magician" convinced me he had switched the cards that we both had in our mouths. As he retrieved it from within his mouth, it was my signed card. However when he gave it to me as "a present" it was completely dry!

The power of magic is a silly thing, it's all about playing your cards right (pardon the pun). I used to believe it appeared in the form of fairy dust which an old lady sprinkled to aid whoever in a wish.
