Red-Raw!
"Wow Beth you're so red!" "Are you really hot or something" "you always seem flushed" "Oh Beth are you blushing!" Leave me alone okay! It's not something I've chosen to be.. For the last 4 years everyone has commented on it! It was a setback at first because it lowered my confidence with my constant blushing, but I breeze on through now. The worst part is that I can't control it so when someone points it out I become more flushed!
The issue is that no one wishes to point out someone's weight or the spots they have - unless you're Sangeetha, thanks for that Sangeetha! I don't understand why it's more accepting to laugh at the colour of my face. It depends on how it's said and who might be joking about it. I mean occasionally I'll bring it up because my hands can be unnaturally red, I admit! Like today, there had to be something wrong with them, they were glowing tomatoes. If it's a simple remark about them though I just hate it!
Thankfully today no one mentioned it yesterday.. Maybe because it was chilly so my blood was too afraid to reach my face! Instead I got some compliments.. Though I felt mean because I find compliments awkward and wasn't sure if they were joking. Especially since I'm not close with all but one of them!
Quote Of The Day:
Me: Ew, chavs!
Tom: What are chavs?
Oh my god are you kidding???? I had to explain what a chav was.. Surely all Brits should know what a chav is!
Adios,
