New Year's Resolutions!

I would like to say "2014 will be so much better than 2013" or "I'm going to make the most of the new year". However, I say it every year and I'm sure the majority of the population do the same. I guess I can give it a shot but I'll make no promises. The real definition of resolution is a combination of the word "solution" which means overcoming a problem and "re" meaning again

1. Revision.
It's lame but it's a priority, considering I will have 5 months between now and my GCSE's it needs to happen. From then I'll have my A levels so revision is vital, I don't care how many odd looks it receives it is as necessary.

2. Add something.
By adding certain vitamins or minerals to my diet I can cut out snacky, unhealthy foods which will benefit my body. I can reduce my spots and improve my health.

3. Stop multitasking.
I'm a bugger for that kind of action. When watching TV I feel the need to play games, when studying I'm listening to music. Whilst writing this post I've been listening to the TV and that slows everything down, making me and any other participants stressed. I need to start focusing and paying attention to the small things.

4. Spend more time outside.
As I'm sure everyone knows, I love the fresh air and the sound of birds tweeting. As it begins to warm up I may begin revising in the garden to make my revision more enjoyable and relaxing.  I have also promised myself to go jogging again once the weather perks up in order to improve my fitness

5. Choose a theme.
In order to make decisions I think this might boost my decision-making skills. I will choose a word and my year will become centred around it so everything can fall around that. This isn't of course an original idea, Shay Kostabi made this more well-known. It can affect my goals and behaviour, and though cheesy, it could work.

Obviously I will make more personal ones for myself on New Year's Eve but I don't have to reveal absolutely everything on my blog just so you know I'm not that boring :')

Have a good New Year and let me know about some of your resolutions if you wish.

Adios,

Beth x
