My Tips..

So quick tip: Never make any rash decisions. A decision of yours will always affect someone else, no matter how relevant the decision is, it will in the long run result in a loss for someone. We realised this when organising prom... Maybe we shouldn't have discussed it so early because as everyone knows, school involves a lot of friendship dilemmas and constant change amongst groups. Take our group for example, we used to hang out in a big all-girl's group and one day several of us split off and meshed with the all-male library crew forming an even bigger group. Which seemed positive for a long while.. Until the issues of everyone liking everyone and prom developed. How do you expect a big group of 15 or whatever the hell we have to travel together to prom? So by splitting that up we thought about going in pairs with a select few. However they were all from different mini groups within the big group, so now that 2 of us have dropped out of going with their pair we've had to rejig. All of which not going according to plan with the baby hiccups along the way. The moral of the story is make sure to zoom ahead to the outcomes of decisions before choosing something on a whim or there will be confusion and problems later!

Another quick tip: Let go. I've come to the conclusion that this year I'll YOLO everything. I know it's cheesy but in the long run, this the last year with my whole school year and we're running out of opportunities whilst young. Starting from now I'll take every chance I have to do something. I suggest it because the present moment becomes history all too quickly! Meaning there's no better time to live in the present than this very moment.

Dad: Well you have to do history. There's no doubt about that. It's the only one you're good at!

Gee thanks dad! Nice confidence boost for the GCSE's and 3 accompanying A-levels. It's fine though, he explained what he meant, I wasn't fazed!

Adios,
